Russell Durham is a composer, violinist, fiddle player, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist. Hailing from West Texas by way of Colorado, he grew up in the classical music world before following his abiding love of bluegrass, country, and folk into the realm of Americana music. Equally at home drawing from classical and folk styles of playing and writing, he has collaborated with the Fleet Foxes, Feist, Andrew Bird, Cory Chisel and Adriel Denae, Maya De Vitry, Anthony Da Costa, Courtney Hartman, Rodney Crowell, and more. He is an alumnus of The Juilliard School in classical violin performance, and currently splits his time between Nashville, TN, Boulder, CO, and Columbia, MO.
